The Bibimbop served in a cast iron bowl where you break the over medium egg to run and mix it up so it all cooks more while in front of you! The food here was so good and the atmosphere was perfect. The extras with samples of cabbage kimchi, cucumber kimchi, broccoli, sweet cabbage, and potato straps were amazing! Also mixing beer glasses with shots of soju to make the evening fun!

I went with a friend to Sorabol for the first time for me though she is a regular here. She knew what to order and wondered whether I wanted to share. Of course I did. I am familiar with Korean food and enjoy eating it. We shared Japchae and short ribs both of which were so mouth watering delicious. There were the Korean kimchis consisting of cucumbers, cabbage, sweet cabbage with carrots, and plain shredded potatoes. Out of the four I preferred the regular cabbage as I am most comfortable with it. The place was clean and located conveniently next door to E mart so that's where we headed for next! The server did check on us to see if we were happy which we were.

We always get tangsuyuk, bulgogi and jap chae. The food is so good. The staff is welcoming. The restaurant is cosy and inviting.

Sophia and I had lunch here next door to Emart, which was convenient for us since we planned to shop for groceries next door. This wasn't our first rodeo here either. In the past, we've joined friends for lunch or dinner and for the most part everyone enjoyed their meal. This time it was just the two of us. Would we leave full and happy? We immediately got seated upon walking in. They actually had a nice crowd during lunch. Within minutes, we were ready to order. For apps, it was fried mandu and we both selected beef bulgogi (lunch portion). Very good and had us full. The fried mandu had enough meat for the filling and the hot pepper paste (mixed with soy sauce) came in handy for dipping. The beef bulgogi was plentiful with white rice and the traditional Korean side dishes. Sophia's not fond of stuff like kimchi so there was enough for yours truly. Not a bad lunch at all. You can't go wrong with such hospitality. We'll be back again soon. Till next time :)

Delicious food! Everything tasted so fresh and authentic. The service was quick, engaging and kind. I will definitely be back for my Korean cravings.

Good Korean food in Newport News! Four adults and two babies enjoyed dinner here on a Saturday evening. Our server was attentive and she seemed to be the only server but you wouldn't have known it. She made sure we had everything we needed. Now onto the food-I personally had the fried mandu and the japchae. Both were delicious. Others at the table had the kimbap and galbi and liked them as well. All the usual pickled accompaniments were served as well. Also had jasmine tea, which was great on a chilly evening.

I lived in Korea for a year and I've been searching an authentic Korean food. We ordered beef kimbap, beef bulgogi, and kimchi soup with pork and tofu. The beef kimbap was well balanced with right portion of beef, eggs, and vegetables inside; the rice was also perfectly cooked. The Kimchi soup was packed with flavors from the pork broth. I was hoping a large strips of pork but they were only bits and large cuts of tofu. The bulgogi did not disappoint and the meat was well-seasoned. The lady server was super friendly and the ambiance was calm and homey. Overall, great authentic Korean food!

Closed for holidays So disappointed but understandable. Well, we shall give them a try in a week or so!
